Information the app accesses

Cleanup Recovery may request access to photos, videos, contacts, notifications, and biometric or device authentication features where those permissions are needed for app functionality. The app uses these permissions to scan media, identify duplicate or similar items, review large files, organize contacts, show notifications, and protect private areas of the app.

Local processing

The app is designed to process media and contact information on the user's device for cleanup and review workflows. Users choose which items to delete, merge, compress, or keep. We do not require users to create an account to use the core app.

Purchases and subscriptions

The app may offer paid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases through Google Play. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. The app may use RevenueCat to manage purchase status, entitlements, subscription state, restore purchases, and related diagnostics.

Data we may receive

Depending on the app version and user actions, we may receive limited technical, purchase, and support-related information such as product entitlement status, subscription state, app version, device platform, crash or diagnostic details, and messages users send to support.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that operate the app, process purchases, host infrastructure, provide diagnostics, or respond to support requests. These providers may include Google Play, RevenueCat, Vercel, and email or support tooling used by the developer.

User control

Users can manage app permissions in Android settings. Users can cancel subscriptions through Google Play. Deleting the app removes local app data according to Android behavior, but purchases and subscription records may remain with Google Play or RevenueCat as required for billing, fraud prevention, tax, and legal compliance.

Children

Cleanup Recovery is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal requirements, or service providers change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
